remember Carl's Coney Island. One of the first places other than
Arby's on Peoria that we went to for lunch after we could drive. The Coney's
were good, the atmosphere was even better but the wait sometimes kinda
sucked. At lunch it was full of students and some of us even went after
school (on our days off from work) and it was usually busy again. |
Crows Drive-In probably the first food we
had other than cafeteria food at Clinton. We could just walk
across the street and eat. |
Then
there was Linda-Mar Drive-In for the discriminating burger pallet. |
